A scary moment…..

But she survived the ride and was safely loaded and bedded down to emerge in Rotterdam!

BON VOYAGE OCTO

Is it Sunday, 12th May, and our precious barge, OCTO, leaves Durban harbour on this rust bucket called Red Cedar, bound for Rotterdam. We will arrive in Rotterdam on 2nd June to receive her off the ship and then will begin our great adventure.

It is over a year since OCTO was conceived and designed on a paper serviette by Gerald and Milton while having a liquid lunch at Groote Post vineyards.  After a year of building, full of interesting events, she is on her way.
